Still Here

Haven't posted in a few days because I've been sick with a head cold...no fever, just stuffy nose and head....may just be allergies.

Anyway, it hasn't stopped me from visiting a few places. We traveled up to Noosa Heads the other day to take Mum to the eye doctor. Enzo and I parked and walked down Hastings Street (like Rodeo Drive...well, maybe more like Clematis Street, in U.S.) and we walked out to the beach. The beaches are very beautiful here...especially if you are a man (the women go topless here!).

Later that same day, we went for a walk down the road to try and go to the beach. Picture walking through the woods and then coming out on a tiny boardwalk (like Blowing Rocks) and then to just a dirt path. This quickly turned into a mud path and then was completely under water, so we never made it all the way to the beach.

We had a nice walk though and took some pictures of what I call the 'dead gopher (or guinea pig) trees'. I swear it looks like a bunch of dead gophers hanging in the trees.

We also took pictures of various trees and vegetation that we can use to illustrate a children's book...perfect little fairylands for the fairies. :)

Yesterday we went to the Sunshine Coast Plaza in Maroochydore. Wow! I have never in my life seen such a mall! Indoor two story mall and outdoor mall with a canal through it (you can ride a gondala!)...it is more like its own little city. Mary Little, you could shop there for 8 hours a day 7 days a week and still not hit it all!!

Visited Maccas (McDonald's Cafe) also yesterday morning. I really wanted a sausage biscuit. Guess what? No biscuits (they call cookies biscuits here). I asked for sausage on a muffin then (English muffin). What I actually got was a hamburger patty on a muffin. Really strange....

Mum feeds me well though she tells me I don't eat enough. I feel badly that I am such a picky eater...I am trying hard to be polite and try everything. Hope to put together a recipe book of all her cooking....she is so amazing!
